Declaration of Faith

We Believe:

1. The Bible to be our sole and absolute authority in all matters pertaining to faith and practice.
2. The Godhead eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal, each possessing one and the same Divine Nature.
3. In the eternal Deity and sinless humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, substitutionary death on Calvary for our sins and bodily resurrection from the grave.
4. In the personality and Deity of the Holy Spirit who indwells in every true Believer and is ever present to testify of Christ in His present working and moving in the lives of men.
5. In the reality and personality of Satan.
6. In the fall of man through temptation of Satan, and hold that man is now born in sin, dead in sin, and utterly unable to save himself.
7. In Salvation by faith through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and that the true Church is composed of all those who have been born again having received Jesus Christ as their own personal Saviour.
8. In the eternal security of the believer and the conscious eternal punishment of those who die unrepentent.
9. In the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10. That the Lord's Supper is a simple memorial feast, in which we remember the Lord's death, and our communion with Him in His risen life, until He comes.
11. That the only form of Christian Baptism is that of immersion of believers in the name of the Holy Trinity, this being the symbol of our identification with Christ in His death and resurrection but not in Baptism as conveying regenerating grace.
